I love that you guys chose to review a movie 10 years after it came out. And, of course, adding Katie Dufresne into anything can only make things better. I watched "The Village" with a friend who, right after it ended, exclaimed, "That's it!?!? THAT'S what I'm supposed to be afraid of??? A retard in a suit?!?!?" After shitting myself laughing for 10 minutes, I looked at him with the intention of beginning an in-depth conversation about what we had just watched, realized I'd get nowhere as he has the intellectual capacity of a gypsy moth, and gave up. It was great to finally hear a dialogue around this movie with all its high points and flaws discussed in a casual and jovial manner yet still offering a smart take on remake ideas. I enjoyed this and am now curious what movie you'll talk about next.
